Whoever built this place sure did, though it looks as if that dream's turning into a nightmare,
I mentioned this house just the other day when it was re-listed- looking for bigger, more - and now it's turned up again, this time
as a short sale, all 10,529 sq ft of it.
It's easily the biggest short sale and biggest spec home in the Foothills, and now with the price reduced yet again, this time to $1,580,000, which works out to $150/sf, on a $/sf basis it's also the lowest priced spec home in the Foothills. So it's new, a spec home too, and a short sale.
All of these short sales and foreclosures are unfortunate and sad, but for some reason, this huge house sitting empty and unwanted, is particularly sad to me.

I wonder if the lender on this nightmare gave its loan officer a big taxpayer bonus.
