5661 E Shadow View Ct, listed for $845,000, went to contract on June 5th and, proceeding nicely, on June 23rd moved from Active Contingent to Pending. When it goes Pending it’s pretty much a done deal, with all contingencies met, and usually closes escrow in short order.
But that didn’t happen. Shadow View Ct has been Pending since June 23rd – 4 long months now - and today, instead of closing escrow, the listing was withdrawn, with an ominous note from the listing agent-
the current occupant of the property is occupying it against the sellers wishes. And the house will be back on the market as soon as the issue is resolved.
uh oh.
A- Did the buyer take possession prior to COE and then not close escrow. Or B - was the property being rented at the time it was for sale, on a month to month, I hope, and now the tenant refuses to leave because they just love it there. I doubt that. Or, C - _ _ _ _
I pick A.
But A, B or C, it's ugly.
