5905 N Camino Escalante, a foreclosure, recently listed at the ridiculously low price of $740,000 ($154/sf) finally went to contract today. Cmo Escalante is a 2007 built adobe hacienda (a fortress really) with massive adobe walls inside and out, tall wood beamed ceilings, concrete floors and solid wood windows and doors. Gorgeous, built to last forever and very efficient. At 4790 sf on one acre in the old foothills (the acre alone sold for $340k) it would take at least $1.5mil to put it together. These pictures are from the previous, non-foreclosure, listing,
but the house today is essentially the same, no damage, minus the furniture, decor.
(listed by Win3 Realty)

This is a special house and I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to find a buyer for it myself.

Wow, whoever got this awesome house is indeed very fortunate. Getting a foreclosed beautiful house doesn't come around everyday. I myself am about to buy a foreclosure, and I'm nearing to get this beautiful house which is just a few minutes' drive away from the Florida beach.
