It sold in 03, when it was brand new, for $947,943
then in 05 for $960,000
then last April for $715,000
and it sold again yesterday for $775,000
Now we know prices have gone down, not up, over the last 12 months and nothing of any consequence was done to the house to improve it, so why did it sell for more now than then. Also, last April’s sale took 77 days and this time it flew off the shelf in just 18.
(and zillow’s zestimate for this sale was $666,600 – down about 7% from last years price.
And going by the numbers that sounds about right. But that’s not what happened, human nature must have gotten in the way, darnit!
