We always say, it's slower in the summer in the Tucson Foothills,
there are fewer people around, everything's slower, including home sales. No big deal.
Well that's true, but this summer's been slower than slow, at least for home sales. And it's slow enough that I think it is a big deal.
Here's a look at July 1st through August 15th single family home sales in the Tucson Foothills for the years 2000 to 2008.
2008 = 66 sold
2007 = 92 sold
2006 = 94 sold
2005 = 121 sold
2004 = 139 sold
2003 = 133 sold
2002 = 108 sold
2001 = 123 sold
2000 = 113 sold
Well, I've wracked my brain, and other than offering some good opportunities for buyers, I still can't think of a chipper spin to put on those numbers.
