A house on Camino A Los Vientos in Eleven Arches was first listed in December of 2005 for $2,450,000. And then dropped to $2,000,000, then upped to $2,400,000, then dropped to $2,200,000, then dropped to $1,999,000, and to $1,799,000, and to $1,735,000.
And then today, in the old zig when everyone else zags strategy, and after almost 3 years and no takers, they raised the price by $264,000, to $1,999,000. I'm all for optimism, but come on, what gives. See it here> Camino A Los Vientos
It's new, sort of. And if by chance you're interested, you might want to go after it before they jack the price up again.
And another new house, a big one on Playa del Coronado in the Summit at Finger Rock, went short sale today. It started out at $2,495,000 in September of 06, and held at that price until this February when it was dropped to $2,395,000, then to $2,295,000 a couple of weeks ago, and then today they took a big whack at it, and dropped it to $1,860,000. That's $635,000 off where they started.

The Summit at Finger Rock sits way high up in the Catalina's, so this house has incredibly stunning views, and looks to have all the luxury bells & whistles.
