Well it seems the doldrums of August have now extended their (unwelcome) stay into September. What happened, things are supposed to start picking up in September. But they haven't.
And if you hear otherwise, don't believe it.
Some agents define how the market's doing based on how it's going for them at that moment. If they're on a roll, then the market's good, if they're slow, the market stinks. " oh it's fabulous ..., I just sold...."
How nice for you. But what does that have to do with anything.
I hear it all the time, it's maddening.
Through today, September 11th, just 11 homes have gone under contract in the Tucson Foothills. One-a-day. With 540 homes for sale, selling at the rate of one-a-day, we have 540 days, or 18 months of inventory on our hands. But I'm sure it'll pick up, soon.
