In just the last 14 days 72 homes in the Foothills, or about 12.5% of the total listed, have had price reductions. And to give you an idea of just how much, or little, prices are being reduced, below is a list of the 25 homes priced $650,000 & UP (the top half of the market) -showing both the old and new price.
And **HERE, is an MLS report showing all 72 price-reduced homes, but with only the new price, because for some reason, the MLS does not offer a publishable report that shows both old and new prices.

OK, 72 price reductions overall, and the median price of all homes listed for sale is $650,000 - so 1/2 are listed below $650,000 and 1/2 at $650,000 and up. So about 282 homes listed for sale below and above the $650k mark.
Yet there were almost 2X as many price reductions below $650,000 than above it. 47 below $650k vs 25 above. And this, despite the fact that at $650k & up, sales are much slower than at $650k and below.
