I don’t know how many times buyers have called wanting to look at this house at 2224 E Calle Los Altos – because on paper it looked like such a deal.
Every time someone called I explained that it backed right up to Skyline Dr just west of Campbell, and cars would be whizzing by their backyard, day and night, at 45 – 50 mph.
End of discussion, and thankfully, I never did end up having to show it.
But it worked for someone because, after a year+ on the market, it sold today
for $552,500, down from $860,000. So at 3436 sf, it went for just $161/sf. Such a deal, you think. And a short sale too.
The thing about a location like this is, in time, it will only get busier, noisier and even less desirable.
