This house has been on the market for 146 days, so not so long as things go. But it was also on the market in 07, and never sold, first for $1,989,000, then $1,890,000 and on and on until it got way down to the bargain basement price of $1,600,000.
At that point the listing included this helpful warning:

And sitting at the very top of Longfellow, it’s very private and with wonderful mountain views too. A deal for the buyers, I think.
