Presto! another foreclosure
This one at 4911 N Avenida De Castilla in Hacienda del Sol Estates.
Built in 2004, and trying to get a jump on things, was listed in
02 & 03 for $795,000 – but never sold.
Back on the market in March 07, for $1,149,000 – left the market last month as a short sale – and now it’s back for $839,900 as a foreclosure.
So $839,900, just a smidge over it’s 02 – 03 asking price.
Or $182/sf for a 5 year old home in gated HDS, with bells and whistles and mountain views. Sounds pretty good.
But no home is perfect and this one’s no exception. It sits next to Hacienda del Sol Rd – at the X. And as we’ve seen so many times in the past with spec homes, for some reason, homes by the side of the road have not proven to be terribly popular with buyers. And I’ve yet to see any signs of that changing anytime soon.
Oh eventually, once the price is irresistible, someone comes along.
