In 2006 the house at 2929 E Plaza Encantada sold for $1,125,000.
It sold again today, this time for $865,000- that’s 23% less than 06.
And however unlikely it may be, average sale prices in the foothills from the same period in 06 vs now, are also down 23%.
So even though the sellers are out a bundle, maybe they’ll take some comfort in knowing that it sold for exactly what the market says it should have. Yeah sure.
Oh, and there’s one thing about this house that’s not so in-sync. The listing indicates the square footage as 3406, and the owner (now the former owner) as the source of that info. But the Pima County Assessor shows the square footage as 2916. So which is it I wonder.
