6959 N Javelina Dr in Skyline CC is now listed for close to what it sold for in 2001. And according to the listing, it’s been completely renovated since then. And while it’s not my cup of tea - too old world elegant for me - it’s looking like it could be right for someone.
It sold for $2,800,000 in 01 and is now down to $2,995,000 (*range priced $2,995,000 to $3,295,000) That’s $268/sf/built 1986/11,181 sf/ masonry construction/6 Beds/8.5 Bths/& swedish sauna, no less/1.92 acres, way up in Skyline/pool/spa, etc, etc.
It’s been for sale for eons and spent about 5 years listed between $3.95 and $4.9, and in just the last 3 months has had a $$million lopped off it’s price tag. So it looks like it’s getting serious time.
See it here, with really good pictures too> Javelina Dr
PS
*range pricing; it’s supposed to prevent low-ball offers by clearly stating the bottom price that a seller is willing to take. That’s what it’s really all about, I think. But I’ve found, when push comes to shove, many range priced homes sell for below the bottom of the range, some well below. And who in their right mind is going to come along and offer $3,100,000 for Javelina Dr, when it’s listed for $2,995,000 to $3,295,000. Would you.
