Last week I did a fun little piece comparing Zillow’s Zestimates to the actual sold price of 16 homes in the Foothills. And, needless to say, there was usually a large gap between the two.

And, maybe coincidentally maybe not, today I received the following email from Zillow, with charts and graphs and even a video, to help me understand their Zestimates. And I thought, this is so helpful, why not share it. So here goes,

So remember boys and girls, just like Sara says, the Zestimate is fun to kinda get an idea. And, as long as you think of it that way, you’ll avoid getting yourself in deep doo-doo.
