Coming into the stretch 501 homes have sold in the Foothills this year for an average/median sold price of $533,373/$435,000.
This compares to 521 sold in 08, for $605,142/$512,000
to 07 - 609 sold @ $675,168/$540,000.
to 06 – 707 sold @ $699,236/$570,000
to 05 – 963 sold @ $619,075/$520,000
to 04 – 959 sold @ $497,759/$408,000
But that’s old news, right. We all know that sales & prices have been going down, down, down since the boom went bust. The real question is, now that we’re in recovery mode and interest rates are lower than ever and there’s a tax credit to boot, how have sales and prices progressed this year.
1st quarter – 107 sold @ $525,097/$445,000
2nd quarter – 119 sold @ $508,374/$420,000
3rd quarter – 171 sold @ $566,918/$445,000
4th quarter, so far – 104 sold @ $515,336/$446,938
