I stopped at my office today, it was a like a ghost town, dead, and asked the girls at the front desk ‘how’s it going’. Now they never say it’s slow, they just don’t – cheerful, corporate positive thinking. Anyway, today one of them whispered, ‘it’s slowww’ but then quickly added ‘probably the calm before the storm’, to which I replied, ‘if so, and the storm turns out to be anything like the calm, we’re in for a helluva ride’
