on the market since 08 when it was first listed for $2,590,000, 5151 N Calle Ladero went to contract yesterday off a $1,375,000 list price, and apparently as a short sale. Nevertheless, it’s an impressive property that feels more like an estate in Beverly Hills than what you’d expect to find in the old pueblo.
It is, or was, also for sale for $1,750,000, which included 4.3 acres vs the $1,375,000 price with just 1.19 acres. If money were no object I’d have gone for the extra acreage. But who wouldn’t.
Worth noting is that Calle Ladero last sold for $2,200,000 in 2005 with 5.5 acres. And when it went on the market in 08, for $2,590,000, it included just one acre.
