Homes prices in the Tucson Foothills peaked in 2006 when the average sold price for the year was $703,616. (that’s for single family homes sold thru the tucson association realtors mls)
Since then average sold prices have dropped, year after year.
From 06 to 07 average sold prices dropped from $703,616 to $676,913, down 3.8%
from 07 to 08 they went from $676,913 to $614,164 a 9.3% drop
and they dropped 12.9% from 08 to 09, and then in 2010 the rate of price drops slowed – dropping 6.3% from 09 to 2010.
and from 2010 vs this year they’re down just 2.3%.
