1682 E Sahuaro Blossom Place in Pima Canyon,
the spec house that was an icon of the lavish mega-luxe spec home movement to hit the Foothills in 2004 – it was asking an unheard of $4,200,000 back then – but that didn’t pan out and it expired this March, still unsold at $2,295,000. And now, to complete the circle, it’s back on the market today for $1,075,000($183/sf) – as a foreclosure.

Plus one of many from back then > 1682 E Sahuaro Blossom Place Tucson, AZ 85718
The last time I saw it was in March when the listing expired, and at that time it had been pretty well picked over. I’ll check it out tomorrow and see what kind of shape it’s in now.
PS- that’s now 17 for sale in PC – and SB, at $183/sf, is by far the low cost $$/sf leader.
And, details details, the listing does not show up if you search Pima Canyon.
Why, I’m guessing because the subdivision is listed as > Pima Canon Estates, rather than Pima Canyon Estates (1-14). So for now it’s our little secret. But I will call them.
PPS- for what it’s worth, the 2011 Pima County tax appraisal is $1,661,865
