And it seems that a group of investors, including a couple from Groupon, are planning to buy the jewel of Michigan Avenue. It’s a gorgeous building and perfectly sited at the Chicago River & Michigan Avenue.
My first time ever in Chicago, in 1978 ?, I was there for a job interview and had a very memorable lunch at the Wrigley Building Restaurant. And as a result of that lunch I ended up taking the job and spending more than 20 years in Chicago - a lot of business got done over lunch in those days. And from my new office I looked across Michigan Ave at the Wrigley Building – what a great sight.
