in the last 10 days, at $1,00,000 and up
- 7 homes in the Tucson Foothills have been listed (from $1.095 to $2.250 and from there a big leap to $5.6 )
- 0 homes have gone to contract
- 3 homes sold, one of each - a foreclosure, a short sale and a normal sale – like the ark
and I’m involved in a deal that I can’t talk about at this time, but that will undoubtedly exert another big tug on upper-end home prices in the Tucson Foothills.
And of course that tug on prices is the result of buyer expectations.
Because even though we’ve had relatively few distress sales in the foothills vs other areas, particularly at the upper-end, (though that appears to be changing)
many upper-end buyers have nevertheless shown a strong and increasing resistance to homes that do not fall into the bargain priced category.
That’s just how it is.
