In reporting February sales last month I said, “home sales in the foothills have been boringly consistent …. So let’s hope we follow last year’s pattern and see a big jump in the action in March”
And, presto, 73 sales in March, among the top three months since Jan 2012
And prices didn’t do too badly either, with March a close 2nd behind last July, (July, huh,that’s weird) , for highest sale prices.
Last month at this time there were 128 homes in contract, this month there are 163 in contract,105 of which went to contract in March. So it’s looking like April may have a shot at topping the charts.
Footnote; with all those sales in March, not one house sold in the $800’s and just 2 sold in the $9’s. But that cloud passed and in the latter half of March 6 homes priced in the $800’s went to contract.
