Recent contracts are the best measure (I think) of how the market is doing right now.
Since July 1st 75 homes have gone to contract;
63 are priced from $179,900 to $575,000 (177 remain for sale)
12 are priced from $600,000 to $949,000 (73 remain for sale)
and that’s it for contracts. (77 remain for sale from $1.0 & Up)
So even in the dead of summer the market continues to do quite well up to about $1mil.
