If you want to be way up in the foothills with incredible views, without spending the big-big bucks required to be in the Canyons, Cobblestone or the upper reaches of Skyline CC, 
La Paloma Drive is worth a look. It’s just a short street in Coronado Foothills Estates, maybe 1/3 of a mile, that runs along the top of a high ridge with about a dozen homes on each side of the street.

Since there are so few homes on La P Drive the availability of homes for sale is very limited.

And I was reminded of it because one just came up for sale this morning. The listing says;
