There’s been a flurry of new upper-end listings this week, and like crocus in the spring they signal a change of season. In our case we’re leaving behind, we hope, the doldrums of the summer market and entering the more robust fall-winter-spring season. Which, traditionally,
is prime time for the upper-end market.
Since Monday there have been 29 new listings and 7 are priced from $1,095,000 to $2,200,000. And they’re all across the foothills, in Cat 10, Alta Vista, Cat 10 again, the Old Foothills, Sabino Mountain and Ventana Canyon Mountain Estates. And you can bet your booties that more are on the way.
That increases the upper-end selection to 89 homes for sale priced from $1,000,000 to $13,900,000 – vs. 26 sold since Jan 1 = a 30 month supply. Well, the supply is there, now let’s see how the demand side measures up. Stay tuned.
