Once again, not a rousing report for September home sales. Have a look, they actually dropped a notch from where they were in August, and I was hoping that August was just a freak month. Now we have two freaks.
And though sale prices are up a smidge from their record lows of August, it’s hardly worth cheering about.
Here’s a link to the 62 that did sell in September.
And let’s see where this puts us for January thru September, this year vs. last year.
2012 – 634 sold @ $461,688/$370,500 (avg/median sold price)
2013 – 703 sold @ $458,091/$390,000
So YTD sales are up almost 11% and sold prices are down .77% average and up just over 5% median. The good news though, for buyers anyway, is there are no bubbles in the Tucson Foothills single family home market.
