Listed at $2,795,000 ($374/sf), 6268 N Whaleback Place in Ventana CC went to contract earlier this month after about 440 days on the market and today it fell thru. And oddly enough it did so after the status had been changed to PENDING, indicating that the inspection period was over, and all was fine and dandy, and it was full steam ahead to COE. Something very unexpected, I suspect, must have occurred.
It sold well in the past, for $2,950,000 in 06 and $3,100,000 in 08 (in 75 days), so it’s not without a good track record, but in this market, we’ll see.
