3616 E Placita Lindura, a very attractive modern Spanish Hacienda style home built by John McCaleb, and listed at $1,175,000 ($347/sf), went to contract today after 10 months on the market.
A Surprise, because at $347/sf it is very much in the upper ranks of Cat 10 sold prices, and we haven’t seen anything sell in the $300’s/sf in two or three years - assuming that the contract is in $300/sf range, and I’m betting it is. And while I had my doubts about it going at this price, I’m very glad to see that it did.
It’s a terrific house on a nearly 2 acre hilltop lot in one of the best gated communities in the foothills. And the other thing it has going for it is its smaller size, it’s 3389 sf. In upper-end communities like Cat 10 and Pima Canyon, etc., the selection of more modestly sized homes is very limited.
