Perusing new high-end listings I noticed 12 homes that were listed last year, many of them for eons, and failed to sell, that were relisted this year. And most of them (9 of the12) were relisted at the same old price they didn’t sell for last year.
Which tells me that sellers and listing agents – at least from this small sample - are optimistic about the market in 2015.
I hope they’re right. But I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.
