I count 8 spec homes on the market priced from $799,000 to $2,000,000 and from a low of $253/sf up to $422/sf.
After years of sitting it out on the sidelines it’s encouraging to see that builders are once again bullish on the high-end foothills market. And with 6 specs in contract or sold in the last 6 months it appears that their optimism ‘may be’ well founded.
The 2 in contract and 4 spec homes sold in the last few months range in price from $865,000 to $1,610,000 and $221 to $395/sf. (link expires 4/27/17)
I say it’s good to have more spec homes available because many buyers prefer new to old and the supply of new homes in the foothills is low.
