9 were priced from $299,900 to $599,000
5 from $675,000 to $849,000
and that's it, nothing with 7 figures
Despite a surprisingly active week during the week of 10/22 - 10/28 the market has slowed recently. Other recent weeks have had many fewer contracts. Yet there's no shortage of new listings, 156 new listings since October 1st, during which time just 83 homes went to contract.
So the inventory of homes for sale is climbing - and that's OK - we need more inventory, it's been too low, there haven't been enough homes for buyers to choose from. But what we don't need, and don't want, is the concomitant slowdown in buyer activity that we have witnessed lately.
