In the last few years home sales at $1,000,000+ have risen from years of sales at a trivial 6 or 7 % of the single family homes sold in the Catalina foothills to a pretty significant 27% of the homes sold last year.

And so far this year, thru 7/31/2023, 383 homes have sold including 109 that sold for $1,000,000+, bringing the % of homes sold at $1,000,000+ to a new high of 28.4%. And even with interest rates ranging from 5% - 7%, 59 of the $1,000,000+ home buyers nevertheless stepped up and took a mortgage.
