In the future instead of posting the tedious list of individual DOM for each contract in each price range I am going to go back to posting only the Median Days on Market figure (MDOM) for each price range. It's simpler and enables you to more easily compare DOM across price ranges and across time periods.
I started posting the individual DOM earlier this year to remind you that the days when just about everything went to contract in the blink of an eye are over. And though plenty of homes are still going to contract very quickly, in 2 to 5 or 6 days, there are also plenty of others taking longer and sometimes much longer.
That said, these days, if you find an attractive home that is new to the market, in a good location on a good lot and reasonably priced there's a good chance you're not the only buyer with their eye on it.
