901 E Magee Road, a gorgeous Spanish Hacienda which sold for $3,200,000 in 2009, and had a bunch of upgrades and improvements since then, sold today for $1,525,000 ($209/sf). That hurts. The biggest steal I’ve seen in the Catalina Foothills. Bar none.

And no kudos to me either, I figured it was goner when it got down to $2.3 - $2.4, someone would offer $1.9, maybe $2.0 and that would be that.

well, at least it’s over

1001 E Magee Road, in Cobo Catalina Hills, was first listed in January 2010 for $2,900,000 and sold today for $1,350,000 ($200/sf) from its most recent list price of $1,525,000.  Oh my.

That’s for a home built in 2006 of concrete block, 6755sf, 1 story on 6.5 acres backing up to the Coronado National Forest, with mesmerizing mountain views. And apparently purchased by someone who did not utilize the services of a Realtor®. Harrumph! Nevertheless, they stole it.

In March, when it dropped to $1,525,000, I said > one of these days
